The aim of the project is reduce health hazard by raising awareness of urban slam dwellers on water and sanitation and increase health and hygiene status in the urban areas. The major activities are- preparation of community action plan (CAP) using PRA tools, group formation, training facilities, production and distribution of slab latrine and distribution and repair of hand tube-well, arsenic testing and construction/installation of rain water harvesting plant, IRP and bucket filtration.
